About PASA
Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America (PASA) is an integrated supplier to the automotive industry in North America. The Company (PASA) was established in 2003 as the result of the consolidation of the sales and development operations of the former Panasonic Automotive Electronics Company, located in Southfield, MI, with the product development and production operations of two manufacturing entities, the former Matsushita Communication Industrial Corporation of U.S.A. in Peachtree City, Georgia and the former Matsushita Communication Industrial de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Based in Peachtree City, GA and Southfield, Michigan, PASA is a division of Panasonic Corporation of North America (PNA – based in Secaucus, NJ), (formerly Matsushita Electric Corporation of America, MECA), the principal North American subsidiary of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (NYSE: MC) (MEI). MEI, of Osaka, Japan, is one of the world's leading developers and producers of innovative electronic and electrical products for consumer, business and industrial use. PASA works with Panasonic Automotive Systems Company, an internal division company in Japan of MEI, which coordinates global automotive industry systems and components operations.

Panasonic's standards are firmly grounded in the philosophy of Company founder Konosuke Matsushita. He began theCompany founder Konosuke Matsushita journey in 1918 by inventing a two-socket light fixture. Konosuke Matsushita's breakthrough led to what is now one of the world's largest electronics companies, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. As he built Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., he never lost sight of the importance of putting the needs of his customers and the public first.

The Matsushita group of companies is the most comprehensive worldwide electric and electronic product manufacturer whose products range from electronic components to consumer electronic products, home appliances, factory automation equipment, information and communications equipment, and housing-related products.

PASA is regarded as one of the most environmentally conscious businesses in the Peachtree City area, a small community of approximately 38,000 offering an abundance of parks and recreational areas for its residents, including 4 golf courses and 3 lakes. PASA's main objectives since 1996 have been to continue its reduction in waste materials going into the landfills, the amount of air emissions coming from the facility, and the amount of electrical energy used in the production process. In addition, PASA has been recognized as an industry leader for its efforts in recycling over 23 separate items, including solder dross, metals, plastics, and wood. As a result of these efforts, the amount of materials going into the public landfills has been reduced from over 1.1 million pounds in 1996 to 475,000 pounds in 2004. During the same period, the overall production has risen from 500,000 units to over 3.8 million units.

Known for its Panasonic trademark, PASA is a world-class manufacturer specializing in automotive electronics. Our Automotive Electronics Group is an original equipment design and manufacturer (OEM) supplying Total Car Audio, Video, and Communications Systems to our automotive industry partners.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STATEMENT
PASA will strive to improve the impact of our operations on the environment through our management system, our commitment to prevention of pollution, and our compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.

EMS STATEMENT
PASA will attempt to recognize and continually improve the impact of the significant aspects related to our activities, products, and services on the environment. Through our Environmental Management System, we pledge to review and document our environmental objectives and targets at least annually in order to maintain a current, valid, and proactive Environmental Management System. PASA's ultimate goal is to reduce or minimize the impact of our significant environmental aspects. We will organize programs to monitor, measure, and deliver improved environmental performance through our Environmental Management System.
